Infinia World School is currently the only member school in Panipat of the International Schools Sports Organisation, ISSO, the national competitive network for schools running an international curriculum like the IB. That single membership is one of the clearest, most concrete reasons Infinia stands apart from every other school in the city.
What ISSO actually means
Membership is not automatic. A school has to offer an international programme, IB or Cambridge, and meet ISSO's own athletic standards before it can enter a single fixture. Infinia meets that bar. In practice, it means our students play against institutions like Shiv Nadar School, Dhirubhai Ambani International School and Pathways World School, on properly officiated brackets with published rankings and a fair play code, not just school-versus-school friendlies within Panipat.
The point is not the trophy. It is that a child finally meets someone better than them, early enough for it to be useful.
Three routes to competition, not one
An Infinia student can compete through all three of India's major school sport networks in the same year: ISSO, for elite competition against India's international-curriculum schools; CBSE Cluster Games, progressing from cluster to zone to national level; and SGFI, the School Games Federation of India, for official national-level events. No other school in Panipat currently offers a child all three routes.
What we field
Cricket at under-12, 14, 16 and 18, alongside swimming, athletics, badminton, tennis, basketball and volleyball. Squads are selected by age group and coached by people with competitive playing backgrounds, training inside the school week rather than bolted on after it.
Why this makes Infinia the strongest choice in Panipat for a serious young athlete
Standards travel. A player who has been read by a sharper opponent, umpired strictly, and beaten fairly comes back with a more accurate picture of their own game than any amount of local success can give them. There is a practical dimension too: students competing at this level build a record that matters when they apply to universities with athletic programmes, in India and abroad, alongside peers on those same brackets applying to the same places. Panipat has good schools. Infinia is the one that gives a child ready for tougher competition an actual route out of the district.
